Undergraduate Projects
These projects are all assignments given in a variety of visual arts courses in undergrad at UMBC that demonstrates my strengths and creativity in a variety of different mediums.
The Little Things
For my senior project, I rotoscoped myself as I did a variety of my hobbies which I consider the "little things" that make me who I am.
Sweet Tooth
This group project uses pixilation to tell a light-hearted narrative about someone who refuses to eat their vegetables.
Fishing Trip
This stop-motion group project follows a cast of characters as they spend the day fishing at a lake.
What Is Your Proudest Achievement?
In this video, I sat down with three recent UMBC graduates and asked them about a moment or achievement that they were most proud of as they headed into a new chapter in their lives.
The Skateboard Magazine
In this mock up magazine, I went to my local skatepark and took pictures of local skateboarders doing some of their favorite tricks around the park. I also interviewed them and created mini biographies for them to include in the magazine.
Western
In this multi-media project, I took footage from a bike ride up the Chesapeake-Ohio Canal towards Harper's Ferry, West Virginia, and created a historical fiction around the colonial.
Pixilation Exercise
This pixilation exercise follows the story of two students who start to get tired after a late night of working in the computer lab.
Call of Nature Playing Cards
Tasked with making a tabletop card game that explores a form of activism that the team agrees upon, I designed cards for a game that promotes environmental conservation.
Basketball Rotoscope Exercise
This introductory exercise in rotoscoping is an animation of a basketball player dribbling into a jump shot in one fluid motion.
